Highland is an incredibly special piece created to celebrate the working women of the West. Every scene is inspired by the ranch of Pandi Highland, a true cowgirl whose life and work embody the spirit of the American West. From working cattle across the ranch to moments with her dogs, family, and the talented, devoted crew who help keep it all running, each little scene tells a story of the people, animals, and everyday moments that make ranch life so special.
This painting is a tribute to the women who work hard, carry on traditions, and play such an important role in the Western way of life. Highland was honored to be displayed at the A.R. Mitchell Museum in Colorado as part of its “Women’s Work” exhibit, celebrating the strength, dedication, and stories of women in the West.
