Jasmine Elizabeth,

was born on a rustic little farm in western New York. As the second oldest of six siblings, it didn’t take long for her to learn the values of hard work and diligence both in the home and around the farm. From the young age of just three years old, Jasmine was already caring for the family horses, as best a three year old can, and she spent long days around the animals and in the outdoors. As she grew older Jasmine had competed in countless competitions with her horses, entered many art fairs where she showed off her early horse paintings, and continued to surround herself with all things art and animals.

Jasmine's passion for art, particularly her love of painting and drawing animals, has been a constant draw since childhood. Throughout her college years Jasmine spent time traveling abroad. Her journeys took her overseas where she was able to take in beautiful new landscapes, walk through colorful textile markets, and even observe the unique clothing and architecture of various lands. Her encounters with the diverse cultures and creatures fueled her to create new artworks, but also sent her down a new path of achieving a Masters degree in Social Studies and Historical education. Jasmine found she was not only in love with learning about other parts of the world, but she was so in love with teaching others about both the current, and past events of the world. She spent ten years in higher education teaching Global and US history.

Jasmine continued showing her horses and working on paintings during her time in the classroom, although not as often as she would like due to the simple lack of time. Her work in “The Herd” collection prompted people she had never met to start reaching out and ask her to make a painting for them. Someone requesting to pay her for a custom painting is something she only ever dreamed of! Up until this point, art was simply a passion; something she loved to do for fun and relaxation and to remember her childhood days on the farm. So after a decade in the education field, Jasmine decided to make the bold move to pursue her artwork full time.

Jasmine's journey is a testament to the power of embracing your passion, no matter where life's path may lead. What started as a personal painting to spruce up her own home, has turned her lifelong love of painting and horses into a full time career, and she is so excited to share each of these special pieces with you.
