Fort Worth Herd | Original Painting
One of one original painting available now
24” wide x 36” high (popular size among collectors)
Perfect for above a console, sitting nook, tall wall, entryway, fireplace, and many other areas where the vertical orientation can elevate your space

Only one available, no reproductions of this painting have been made in any size
This striking painting captures the history and significance of Fort Worth as a “Cowtown.” The 17 longhorns in the drive represent the Fort Worth Herd, a daily reenactment in the Historic Stockyards where 17 Texas Longhorn steers—one for each decade of the city's history—are driven down East Exchange Avenue by authentic drovers. Each of the longhorns represented in the painting are labeled with their name, if you look very closely at each one, and are a current member of the Fort Worth Herd. The drovers represented are members of the cattle drive, as are the horses featured. All of these details come together to create both a colorful and historically significant depiction of the distinguished Fort Worth Herd.
Medium: Acrylic on canvas
Canvas type: Gallery wrapped 1.5” edge, stretched canvas
